The Black Crowes is an iconic American rock band formed in 1984 in Georgia by the Robinson brothers. Rolling Stone magazine readers voted them as the “Best New American Band” in 1990. Their single, "Hard to Handle" reached the Top 40, bringing their album into the Top Ten. The acoustic ballad "She Talks to Angels" became the band's second Top 40 hit in the spring of 1991, and "Shake Your Money Maker" eventually sold over three million copies.
